Features
5000 series aluminum alloys have 5052, 5005, 5083 and 5A05 series. 5000 series aluminum rods belong to the more commonly used alloy aluminum plate series, the main element is magnesium, and the magnesium content is between 3-5%. It can also be called aluminum-magnesium alloy. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. Under the same area, the weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than other series. It is also widely used in conventional industries. In my country, the 5000 series aluminum plate belongs to one of the more mature aluminum plate series.
Welding requirements for 5000 series aluminum tubes
1. The effect of one-time successful welding is better, because the point of the aluminum tube melting rotary cutting tool is too low, and the aluminum tube is easily deformed when reheating for the second time.
2. The welding rod must be evenly coated with flux to ensure the quality of solder joints.
3. The flame of the torch should not be too long, and it must be heated with a low flame, otherwise the aluminum tube of the dispersant will easily melt.
4. After the welding is completed, wait for the special slurry for nylon wire to cool for two or three minutes before the cement storage can be touched, otherwise the solder joints are easy to leak.
5. The welding time should not be too long, because the melting point is too low and the time is too long, it will easily cause the wall of the aluminum tube to melt or become thinner, and the pressure will easily leak.
6. Wet towels must be placed in the inner tank to protect it in place, because the welding space is very narrow, so be sure to pay attention to the protection of the refrigerator.
7. The welding rod cannot be heated with a welding gun and then dipped in welding powder, because the melting point of the welding rod is too low.

Widely used in ships, warships, vehicle materials, automobile and aircraft plate weld ments, pressure vessels requiring strict fire protection, refrigeration devices, TV towers, drilling equipment, transportation equipment, missile components, armored subways, etc.
