SS304 Tube is a versatile stainless steel, which is widely used in the production of equipment and parts that require good overall performance (corrosion resistance and formability). 304 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel produced according to the American ASTM standard. 304 is equivalent to China 0Cr19Ni9 (0Cr18Ni9) stainless steel. 304 contains 19% chromium and 9% nickel and is the most widely used stainless steel with its characteristics of heat-resistant and practical. SS304 tube is usually applied in food production equipment, general chemical equipment, nuclear energy, etc.

Fabrication of Seamless SS304 Tube
Round tube bar → heating → piercing → three-roll cross rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → tube removal → sizing (or reducing) → cooling → blank tube → straightening → hydraulic test (or flaw detection) → marking → storage . Cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe: round tube billet→heating→piercing→heading→annealing→pickling→oiling (copper plating)→multi-pass cold drawing (cold rolling)→blank tube→heat treatment→straightening→ Hydro test (flaw detection) → marking → put in stock warehouse ready to be delivered.
Application
