Two rows of parallel fin tubes are arranged at the front side of the plug header. The rear end of fin tube is set in the reserved hole in front of the plug header box. The rear side of the pipe box is arranged with two rows of parallel plugs holes in the fin tube. The plug and gasket are located at opposite side of each tube, then allows operators to do inspection , cleaning and maintenance for individual tubes.
If any leakage of tube was found, then new spare plugs and gaskets will be needed to replace the original ones during routine maintenance.

Usually the plug material is soft Iron SA105 and gasket material is A366. But according to different operation situation of air fin fan cooler, other material of plugs and gaskets will be used, such as stainless steel, brass, titanium, nickel alloy, etc.
After plugs and gasket formed to required size, the surface is usually with zinc coated, whether being white zinc or being with colorful zinc. (when plug material is SA105).
When plug material is SA-182 F316L, then gasket material is SS316L.
When plug material is SB-654 UNS N08825, then gasket material is SB-162 UNS N02201.
The material for plugs and gasket is usually determined by the fin tubes material, fin tube material and fin type then decided by the working environment of whole fin fan cooler.

The thickness for gasket is about 1.587mm thick.
If customers have different requirement on material or sizes of shoulder plug and gasket, we can open new mould and then make the right size.

Q: Do you have MOQ for the plug quantity?
A: We do not have the MOQ requirement for the plugs. We know sometimes it is for emergency use. If we have stock, we are willing to help. Meantime, we offer better prices for large quantities.
Q: Can we get the plugs be zinc coated?
A: Sure. When the plug material is soft iron, we will make them be white zinc or color zinc on the shoulder plugs.
Q: Can we get samples of the plug and gasket before order placed?
A: Yes, free samples can be provided based on our stock or customize the plug size according to your requirement.
