welded helial solid finned tubes is a high-efficiency material-saving welding method developed in the early 1950s for connecting pipes and profiles, and gradually developed and matured in the 1970s and 1980s. Due to the larger heat transfer area of finned tubes, higher heat transfer efficiency and smaller pressure drop, the comprehensive heat transfer performance of gas furnaces and oil-gas mixture heating furnaces is significantly better than that of ordinary heat transfer materials of the same specification and material Tube, studed Tube. All kinds of heat exchange equipment with it as the core component are more and more widely used in electric power, chemical fertilizer, chemical industry, and oil refining equipment.
Totally we have four production lines to produce high frequency fin tubes, two machines were imported from Korea and can produce fin tube maximum to OD219mm and 28000mm length.
High-frequency welded spiral finned tube is to use the skin effect and proximity effect of high-frequency current to heat the outer surface of the steel strip and steel pipe while the steel strip is wound around the steel pipe until it is in a plastic state or melted and complete the welding. This high-frequency welding is actually a solid-phase welding. Compared with methods such as inlaying and brazing (or overall hot-dip galvanizing), it is more advanced in terms of product quality (the welding rate of fins is high, up to 95%), productivity and automation.
This type of Fin Tube is used specifically where the application involves a lot of Mechanical Stresses like continuous vibrations etc. The welding bond between the Tube and The Fin also ensures that almost perfect heat Transfer Efficiency is achieved. Also it can give the highest operating temperature ranges.
The steel fin, that may be solid or serrated, is helically wound and continuously welded to the tube by high frequency electric resistance welding. This produces an homogeneous, clean and continuous fin to tube bond with no additional weld material, for a very efficient heat flow and resistance to corrosion.

Characteristics
Large heat exchange area
Corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, low contact thermal resistance, high stability and anti ash ability.
Becasue of fast welding speed and strong self cooling effect of weldments, not only the heat affected zone is small, but also oxidation is not easy to occur, so the microstructure and properties of the weld are very good.
Application
The high frequency welded solid fin tubes are widely usd in heat recovery of boiler, air preheaters and waste heat boilers, as well as heat exchangers in various fields.
HF Solid fin tube is widely applied in waste heat recovery of electric power, cement industry and petrochemical industry.
The high frequency welded spiral fin tube economizer is a newly type heat transfer equipment, consisting of spiral fin tubes to overcome the serious abrasion and short service time.
