Copper finned tube, means both the tube and fin are copper material. Comparing with aluminum fin tube, copper Fin Tubes have optimal thermal conductivity and also corrosion resistant. According to different fabrication process, the fin type can be Extruded copper finned tube, L Tension Wrapped Finned Tube with C12200 Copper Fins, Embedded G Fin Tubes with C12200 Copper Fins.
Extruded Copper Fin Tube
The metal seamless blank tube is used, and the outer (inner) surface of the blank tube is integrally extruded by the tube rolling machine, and rolled into a high-efficiency finned tube with continuous threaded fins. Therefore, it has good heat transfer, high strength, thermal shock and mechanical shock resistance, and good thermal expansion performance. The fin tube pitch is between 6 and 20 teeth per inch, and the fin height is 3 to 15 mm (copper low fin and high fin). Acting on condensers, coolers, evaporators, oil coolers, water heaters, heat pumps and boilers, it is an internationally advanced heat exchange element.

Different from this extruded formed finned tube, we also have another two types of copper finned tube. For L Type Copper Fin and Embedded G Type Copper Fin, the base tube is a high-quality copper tube, and the high-quality copper tape is tightly and evenly wound on the outer surface of the base tube through a special winding machine, and then the whole is tinned. Copper finned tubes are commonly used in industrial refrigeration radiators and air coolers.
