There are usually two kinds of manufacturing processes for spiral finned tubes, namely, one is to cover the processed fins on the base tube by extrusion, which is usually easy to cause large contact thermal resistance between the finned tube and the base tube; The other method is to wrap the fin material on the base tube and weld the fin and the base tube together to make the contact thermal resistance relatively small. The main structural parameters of spiral finned tube are fin height h, fin pitch s, fin thickness and pipe diameter.
The serrated spiral finned tube is a kind of special-shaped extended surface developed on the basis of the spiral finned tube. Its manufacturing process is similar to that of the high-frequency welded spiral finned tube. The difference is that the strip must be cut locally before the serrated spiral finned tube is wound. The cut part is naturally separated during winding to form a gear state.
